Drage Reserve in Felixstow is now home to a new first class playground designed with children of all ages and abilities in mind.

Accessible playground features include:

  • a rubber base, making it accessible and safe for all children.
  • a wheelchair-friendly trampoline, thanks to the generosity of the Count Me In Foundation

The Council has been overwhelmed with positive feedback about the new play equipment, which complements the nearby nature play area in Felixstow Reserve

The first stage of the redevelopment, which was completed in September, also included a renewed car park and new toilet facilities.

Further works are scheduled to commence during summer and will include more accessible entry points to the playground area, seating, barbecue facilities and drinking fountain, landscaping and irrigation.

Whether you want to climb, spin, swing or jump, there are adventures aplenty for every child at Drage Reserve playground!
